SMART GmbH Ads Operator
SMART GmbH Ads Operator is a private internal application developed and operated by SMART GmbH to manage, analyse and measure SMART GmbH’s own Google Ads account through the Google Ads API.
Purpose and availability
The application is used only by authorised SMART GmbH employees and contractors. It centralises SMART GmbH’s own advertising operations so that campaign work is accurate, secure and auditable.
It is not sold or offered as a client service, has no public registration or customer access, and does not access or manage third-party advertiser accounts.
Production Google Ads API access is currently under Google review. Production functions are enabled only after Google approval and within SMART GmbH’s internal controls.
How the Google Ads API is used
Reporting and analysis
- Read account structure, campaigns, ad groups, ads, keywords, assets, conversions and performance data.
- Produce internal reports and diagnose campaign, policy-visible and conversion-measurement issues.
Campaign management
- Create and update campaigns, ad groups, ads, keywords, assets, targeting, bidding and budgets within SMART GmbH’s designated account.
- Record validations and change history for internal review and auditability.
Planning and measurement
- Support keyword planning, recommendations and advertising-asset workflows.
- Review conversion configuration and measurement diagnostics to improve data quality.
Access and safeguards
Authentication uses a dedicated SMART-controlled identity and a fixed single-account boundary. Credentials are protected, access is limited to authorised personnel, and Google Ads data is not sold or used to operate advertising for another organisation.
Campaign changes remain subject to SMART GmbH’s internal controls. The application does not automatically activate advertising campaigns.
